Ms. Kathy Shi (Hua) brings her vision of giving the essences of Chinese and Western education to children. With over twenty years of experience in education, Ms. Shi and BIBS are committed to integrating China's education with Western education in supportive and stimulating environments.

Mr. Guo graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University and began his career in its Office of Admission. As one of the earliest Chinese professionals in U.S. university admissions, he spent nearly a decade leading international admissions at two U.S. universities. After ten years on the university admissions side, Mr. Guo decided to move to the other side of the desk, bringing his first-hand understanding of international university admissions and talent development back to China. He has since held leadership roles in international education programs in Beijing and Chengdu, and previously led university counselling for a major education group with over 30 schools. 

In addition to his leadership responsibilities at BIBS Kunming, Mr. Guo also serves as Head of University Counselling for Beanstalk Education Group (BEG), providing strategic leadership and oversight for university counselling across the Group. Mr. Guo has also been active in the global admissions community, serving for six consecutive years on International ACAC’s Global Affairs Committee and as a professional development trainer for its 2022 and 2023 Annual Conferences. He has trained over 800 admissions and counselling professionals and spoken at major international forums including the CIS Global Forum, CIS–EARCOS Institute, and EducationUSA Forum.

Mr. Nick is originally from the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand where he enjoys swimming, fishing, water skiing, rugby and snowboarding. He have been living, teaching and working in school management here in China for the past ten years. Here he enjoys reading,traveling and learning Chinese. Education is more than just a job for him. Leariing—at it's core, He hopes will be a lifelong passion. He has formally studied Management, Marketing, Finance, International Business and Chinese. He is currently studying Systems Science, Psychology and Chinese History. 

Ms. Kana graduated from Communication University of China and joined in BIBS group particularly focused on Chinese courses since February 2007 . Kana as the first tier of staff who developed together with BIBS and was engaged with the bilingual programme teaching and management task, has accumulated rich experience on Western and Chinese educational concept. Kana was relocated to Kunming campus from March 2017, and maintained the Chinese subject taught of good quality. According to the BIBS core value of “The essence of Chinese and Western cultures, beautifully blended” and we have developed Kunming campus as the largest and the locally famous International School in Yunnan.

Ms. Nicole has a strong background in engineering and architectural design. She graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London (UCL), which is ranked first in the world. She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in architectural design management. She has lived in London, UK for the past five years and has also studied abroad in several European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Greece. Fueled by her passion for education, she returned to China to devote herself to bilingual education. She believes that her rich experience and diverse professional knowledge system will help students understand the world more extensively, broaden their horizons and cognitive systems, and stimulate their interest in learning and their ability to learn efficiently and effectively.

Mr. Damian graduated from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) with a Merit Degree, then moved to Sheffield (United Kingdom) to complete his master's degree in Metallurgy with the University of Sheffield and finally back to Singapore to complete his Postgraduate Diploma in Education with Nanyang Technological University, National Institute of Education, Singapore. He worked as a Teacher with Dipont in two of their schools in Hangzhou and Chengdu as a Middle School Science Coordinator from August 2020 till July 2023. He was a full-time educator with Studio Prime Learning Centre (Hong Kong) from January 2014 to July 2020, teaching Chemistry (IB), Chemistry (IGCSE), Physics (IGCSE) and Lower Secondary Science, Additional Mathematics and Elementary Mathematics. Before the appointment in Hong Kong, he taught in Swiss Cottage Secondary School in Singapore from January 2007 to December 2013.

During then, he taught Lower Secondary Science and worked as a Lower Secondary Science Coordinator.

On top of that, he also taught Chemistry and Science (Chemistry) for GCE 'O' Level and GCE 'N' Level respectively. As for Co-curriculum Activities, he was the teacher in charge for the Ten-pin Bowling (3 Years) and then Basketball (4 Years). Damian's educational philosophy is that learning is a lifelong process and every event moment is a learning experience. In his daily life, he enjoys hiking, soccer, basketball, bowling, jogging, and badminton.
