Ms. Kathy Shi (Hua) brings her vision of giving the essences of Chinese and Western education to children. With over twenty years of experience in education, Ms. Shi and BIBS are committed to integrating China's education with Western education in supportive and stimulating environments.

Former Vice Principal of RDFZ, Senior Teacher, Special-class Teacher in Physics. Member of the National Expert Training Program of the Ministry of Education, the first group of State-level Backbone Teachers of the Ministry of Education's "Cross-century Gardener Project". Former Deputy Director of the Science Popularization Work Committee of the Chinese Physical Society, Committee Member of the Beijing Institue of Physics, former Deputy Director of the Competition Committee, former Director of the Beijing Youth Science and Technology Association. The only 2022 Yale University Distinguished Educator award winner from mainland China.

Director, BIBS Center of Future Education Dr. Kim is the Chief Technology Officer and Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University, who received his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Technology from the University of Southern California in 1999. As an education technology entrepreneur, Dr. Kim designs and implements mobile technologies and social learning environment for Stanford undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Kim serves on the Board of Directors of WestEd, the Committee on Grand Challenges in International Development for the National Academies of Science, and the advisory committee for the National Science Foundation's Education and Human Resources Directorate.

Mr. Nick is originally from the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand where he enjoys swimming, fishing, water skiing, rugby and snowboarding. He have been living, teaching and working in school management here in China for the past ten years. Here he enjoys reading,traveling and learning Chinese. Education is more than just a job for him. Leariing—at it's core, He hopes will be a lifelong passion. He has formally studied Management, Marketing, Finance, International Business and Chinese. He is currently studying Systems Science, Psychology and Chinese History. 

Mr. Adam studied at Illinois Wesleyan University with full honors, a well-known liberal arts college in the United States. Adam familiar with the Slate Admissions system, which used by university admissions offices, and has in-depth knowledge of more than 500 international high schools of their academic background,  curriculum difficulty, and special activities. Adam chose to work for Chinese international education after decades university working experience with his understanding of the talent selection and training mechanism of foreign universities. 

Originally from Nottingham, England (UK), Mr Moore has been working in the private international education sector since 1995. During this time, he has gained experience in key roles including being a Teacher, Lecturer, Teacher Trainer, Deputy Centre Principal, Centre Principal, Academic Principal, Academic Director, Asia Pacific Regional Academic Manager, Auditor, and Global Academic Support Manager. Mr Moore has a Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Applied Linguistics (with Specific Reference to English Language Teaching) from the University of Durham, a University of Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree (with Honours) in Culture and Communication from the University of Lancaster. During his career, Mr Moore has acquired experience of running internationally recognised programmes such as IFYs, PMPs, IGCSEs, AS / A Levels, IB MYPs, and IB DPs.

Ms. Nicole has a strong background in engineering and architectural design. She graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London (UCL), which is ranked first in the world. She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in architectural design management. She has lived in London, UK for the past five years and has also studied abroad in several European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Greece. Fueled by her passion for education, she returned to China to devote herself to bilingual education. She believes that her rich experience and diverse professional knowledge system will help students understand the world more extensively, broaden their horizons and cognitive systems, and stimulate their interest in learning and their ability to learn efficiently and effectively.

Ms. Kana graduated from Communication University of China and joined in BIBS group particularly focused on Chinese courses since February 2007 . Kana as the first tier of staff who developed together with BIBS and was engaged with the bilingual programme teaching and management task, has accumulated rich experience on Western and Chinese educational concept. Kana was relocated to Kunming campus from March 2017, and maintained the Chinese subject taught of good quality. According to the BIBS core value of “The essence of Chinese and Western cultures, beautifully blended” and we have developed Kunming campus as the largest and the locally famous International School in Yunnan.
